Rayalaseema neglected? Utter Rubbish!

While some individuals and political groups with vested interests foulcry for separate Rayalaseema alleging that the region is being neglected, facts are different. The state government until now had accorded permissions for 105 industries after the state divisions which are expected to bring in 16252 Crore.

Investment proposals for another 13000 Crore are pending permissions from the state government. Chittoor district from Rayalaseema tops in these investments taking away 8689.81 Crore. Sri City is the major investment destination and is situated in Chittoor which comes as an advantage to the district.

There are three Rayalaseema districts in the list of districts with maximum number of investments. While some are accusing the state government putting all of its concentration on Krishna and Guntur districts. Both the districts together barely managed about 750 Crore. Guntur district is at the bottom tenth position in the list while Krishna district is ranked eighth.
