Ready to sit in opposition – Rahul Gandhi

Talks of Congress being ready to support Third front from keeping communal forces at bay are in media for the last couple of days. Experts opined that this move from Congress will work as regional parties who are harbouring hopes on Prime Minster’s chair are eager to take the support and form the government. This combination may have been good if Congress and Communists manage decent number of seats in Parliament. But this statement of Congress had also sent signals that the party is ready for defeat.

But now Congress Vice President, Rahul Gandhi had declared that Congress will not support any alliance in case of not getting majority to form UPA-3. The Congress Prince in a public meeting said “We are ready to sit in opposition and play constructive role in case people’s verdict goes against us”. According to the poll trends, Congress is gearing for the biggest loss in its life time.
