After hearing arguments from both sides, the Telangana High Court struck down the case.

If one rewinds a bit, KTR made the allegations on March 27, 2024, at the BRS party office in Banjara Hills. KTR had said that A Revanth Reddy sent Rs 2500 crore to the Congress High Command through extortions from builders and contractors in the state.

In a complaint lodged on March 30, 2024, it was said that KTR made the allegations without any proof. It also said that KTR made a statement that Revanth Reddy would be joining the BJP following the general elections.

It was alleged that KTR said that Revanth Reddy was delaying permissions for buildings and layouts pressurising realtors for funds.

The case was filed by Hanamakonda Congress leader Bathini Srinivasa Rao at Hanamakonda, which was later transferred to Banjara Hills PS in Hyderabad.
