Resentment Brewing in Employees on Jagan

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Government released another 2,800 Crore for YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme this morning. The state is reeling under severe pressure due to a bad financial position owing to the deficit budget and also the economic turmoil forced by the Coronavirus Outbreak.

At this time, the State Government has been deferring the salaries to its staff for two months now. There are reports that the salary may be deferred next month as well. And at the same time, there are reports that RTC laid off 6,000 outsourced staff until the normalcy is restored.

They are yet to get their April salaries as well. It is known to our readers that RTC has emerged into the Government after Jagan came to power. Employees are severe financial distress and are angry on the Government for ignoring their problems and keeping the welfare schemes in priority.

“What matters for this government is their vote bank politics. We voted against the previous Government despite getting salary hikes and an increase in pension age. But Jagan Mohan Reddy is not reciprocating to that. The Government will definitely pay price for this,” an employee association warns.
