People Believe Revanth More Than the BJP In That Matter

The BRS is still recovering from the Jubilee Hills By-election loss, and now another shock has hit them. Governor Jishnu dev Varma has allowed an investigation against BRS MLA KTR in the Formula E car race case. The Revanth Reddy Government requested this permission, and it now opens the door for possible arrest.

Bandi Sanjay reacted quickly and asked what CM Revanth Reddy and Congress plan to do now. He said the Governor’s approval shows that the investigation will move ahead. He claimed Revanth Reddy did not want this approval and accused him of maintaining a secret agreement with KCR.

He told reporters that Revanth Reddy and KCR are running the state together. He also accused Revanth Reddy of blaming the Center for not sending KCR to jail. He reminded the public that Revanth Reddy once said KCR’s assets would be seized and that he would be jailed.

In Telangana, very few people believe Revanth Reddy and KCR are on the same side. Everyone knows the rivalry between Revanth Reddy and KTR and how they constantly target each other. The idea of them working together does not match the political reality.

If people suspect any two parties of working together, it is more likely the BJP and the BRS. The BJP needs support from the BRS to weaken the Congress. The BJP High Command weakened its own State Unit before the Assembly elections so anti-government votes would not split and the BRS could stay in power.

This raises a key question. Why did the Governor approve the investigation against KTR now? One possible explanation is that the BJP realised the BRS can no longer stop the Congress. They may want to push the BRS aside and take over the Opposition Space in Telangana politics.

With KCR unwell and the chance of KTR going to jail, the BJP might find the path easier. This makes the entire development a crucial turning point in Telangana’s political landscape.
