Jail For KTR?: Formula e-Racing Case

KTR Formula e-Racing case update

Will the Rs 54.88 crore Formula e-Racing case lead to the arrest of BRS working president KTR? Recent developments suggest that his arrest by the ACB may be likely. The case has entered a serious phase with new action from the state authorities.

Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma has approved the prosecution of KTR. The ACB had requested permission, stating that they had evidence pointing to his role in the case. With the approval now granted, the ACB is expected to file a chargesheet soon.

KTR has already appeared before the ACB several times. He has dismissed the allegations and called the case a “lotta peesu” case. He also stated that he does not fear going to jail if the situation demands it.

The Telangana government has maintained that the case is not driven by political motives. Officials say that the investigation is moving as per the law. However, political analysts believe the recent Jubilee Hills win has made the government more confident about taking firm action.

The new move has caused anxiety among the BRS cadre. Party insiders worry that even BRS chief KCR could face arrest soon in the Kaleshwaram case. Former minister Harish Rao criticised the government and said it was taking vicarious pleasure in creating a case out of nothing.
