Revanth Reddy’s Complainant Reveals Caste Angle in the Case

Income Tax Department and Enforcement Directorate conducted raids on Revanth Reddy’s Hyderabad Residences and other places belonging to his relatives the other day and the raids are going on even today. A high court lawyer, Ramarao wrote a letter to CBI on July 24th alleging that Revanth Reddy amassed illegal wealth to the tune of 1000 Crore through shell companies.

CBI has forwarded the letter to the concerned central authorities. The lawyer in an interview made an interesting comment. “Revanth Reddy has targeted several issues in this government but one speech about my community (Velama) got offended me very much and it was then, I decided to take on him,” Ramarao said.

While the Anchor asked if it was a caste fight and not Anti-Corruption fight, he immediately reconciled and said it was indeed a fight against corruption. Along with this complaint, ED is also investigating into the money which was used in the Cash for Vote case.
