Telangana CM Revanth Reddy hoisted the national flag on Independence Day and later spoke at the CREDAI meet addressing realtors. He also responded to opposition allegations, highlighting political rumours against his development projects like Future City and ORR, insisting such criticism does not affect him.
Revanth Reddy explained that Delhi visits are for obtaining clearances for major projects, including Musi river, Metro, and infrastructure works. He emphasised that the CM’s bungalow in Delhi is meant for official use, allowing CMs to stay up to four days to secure approvals from the Central government.
He clarified that the bungalow is not for private parties or personal events. He also mentioned restructuring a loan of Rs 26,000 crore over 35 years at 7% interest, showing his focus on financial planning and project execution rather than political controversies.
On land and real estate, Revanth Reddy said emotions play a crucial role. How one manages and advances these assets impacts development. He stressed that supporting politically-motivated rumours only hinders progress and that his priority remains Telangana’s infrastructure and citizen welfare.
