RGV Files Another Petition: Fears Arrest?

Director Ram Gopal Varma has been on the police radar for the last few days due to the multiple cases filed against him for the derogatory comments he made against Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh during the promotions of his film, Vyuham.

RGV has been absconding for the past few days to evade his arrest. His anticipatory bail petition may come to the hearing in the AP High Court today. Meanwhile, he now filed a writ petition, requesting the court to quash multiple cases regarding the posts he made on social media.

Varma claimed in his petition that multiple cases were being filed against his posts on X, calling it unlawful to file cases on the same issue across the state. He urged the court to stop further cases on the same matter and quash the existing ones.

The High Court’s verdict on the writ petition is awaited, while the anticipatory bail verdict is expected today.

Varma has posted a video on social media, claiming he hasn’t absconded but is seeking time to attend police questioning. He maintained his innocence and alleged harassment through multiple cases.

Meanwhile, people question why he is avoiding the police if he claims to be innocent. They opined that he might be filing multiple petitions fearing arrest.
