Rice Bucket Challenge goes viral!

Hyderabad based journalist Manju Latha Kalanidhi’s spoof of Ice Bucket Challenge, the Rice Bucket Challenge is going viral and is proving to be boon for the poverty induced hunger problem in India. Social networking sites have received the idea very well and the concept is blooming with support. The Rice Bucket Challenge had already got more than 50000 likes and donors from all walks of the life students and teachers, young and old, rich and poor, celebrities and ordinary people are coming up with generous heart and are uploading their pictures on to internet motivating their friends.

Even though not on par with the Ice Bucket Challenge, this localized challenge had got decent support from the celebrities and some enthusiasts are trying to rope in known faces of Hyderabad like Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and badminton ace Jwala Gutta to support the cause.
