Rightly Said, Fight On Ground Not On Twitter

Kalvakuntla Kavitha‘s Letter earlier this week and the Press Meet today are creating ripples in the BRS Ecosystem.

The cracks in the family are wide open and it is now upto KCR how to deal with it.

Kavitha has clearly said that she is not ready to work under anyone‘s leadership and also threatened that if need arises, she will float her own party.

Kavitha, in her Chit-chat with Media, went on about ranting many things. But there is one thing that is 100% Right.

BRS Cadres are not at all on ground even when Kavitha was arrested, even when KTR was summoned by the ACB, and even when KCR was issued notices by the Kaleshwaram Committee.

This is quite in contrast to what the YSR Congress cadres did at Lotus Pond when Jagan was arrested and to what the TDP cadres did when Chandrababu was arrested.

Political Parties and their cadres are all about hitting the ground in the Opposition and making People vigilant about the Government failures.

But BRS has taken a different approach. BRS started skipping elections and is choosing Tweets over On-ground Agitations.

Except for the BRS@25 Public Meeting, there is no major Political Program by the BRS in these two years of Opposition.

KCR as always is absent from the Ground and has confined himself to the Farmhouse. He is not even attending the Assembly. This also looks like a way to promote KTR as the Next leader.

But KTR is mostly confined to Tweeting on issues than leading the forces on Ground.

BRS Social Media is completely different. They do not fight the Government failures. It is mostly confined to Image Building for KTR.

They started this exercise while KCR is in Powet and it worked like a Charm back then. But the Priorities ought to change once the party is in the Opposition. But that did not change.

They are confined to KTR Bhajana day in day out. They fight Revanth Reddy on Opposition but it looks more like a Personal Issue than a Political Fight.

Right from the start, they demean Revanth Reddy and disregard the Public mandate by calling him names. Even if they post something about the Government failures, it appears like they have issues with Revanth more than anything else.

The BRS is in an illusion that the Anti-incumbency will automatically favor them and working on the Social Media is more than enough.

But that will quickly change if the BJP picks a Strong Leader and focuses on the Task. In a healthy Democracy, a Party feeling it is the only alternative is nothing but staying in an Imaginary World.

That is the situation KTR has created for BRS and it is rightly pointed out by Kavitha.
