The car that Pant was traveling in reportedly hit the divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway and caught fire due to the impact. Luckily, Pant got out of the vehicle on time and he was immediately rushed to the hospital.
From the images that have surfaced on social media, Pant can be seen with an injury to his head. We can also see bruises on his back. The medical team is supervising his condition. He is currently at Max Hospital.
The International Cricket Council, ICC tweeted about the incident. The statement read that Pant had indeed been injured in the accident but he has been cleared of any serious injuries by the medical team attending him.
