Road Connect to Amaravati: Clear Path Ahead!

The Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari, will be in Amaravati on August 2. He will be opening and laying foundation stones for 29 national highways.

The programme will be held at CK Convention Center in Mangalagiri at 5 pm. CM Chandrababu, Nitin Gadkari and Pemmasani Chandrasekhar will participate in the programme.

On Thursday, Union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma met Gadkari regarding his Amaravati trip. Varma asked Gadkari to expedite the construction and expansion of national highways in Andhra Pradesh. He explained the inconvenience the delay was causing to the locals.

Varma brought to the notice of Gadkari two major projects in Narsapuram Lok Sabha constituency – Digamarru-Akividu-Bhimavaram bypass road (NH 165) and Narsapuram bypass road (part of NH 216).

Varma asked for restarting the stalled work on Narsapuram bypass road explaining that it would lead to economic growth of the Delta region.

Gadkari assured of full cooperation from the central government.
