Clarity on KCR’s Biopic: Rocking Rakesh

Jabardasth actor Rocking Rakesh has released a video urging media outlets not to spread false information about him or his film based on former Chief Minister KCR Story. He requested his media friends to act responsibly while reporting sensitive matters.

A media clipping with the headline “KCR cinema theesi sankanaaki poya” is circulating online. With BRS trailing in the Jubilee Hills bypoll as per exit polls, party morale is already low. Rakesh fears such reports could anger KCR’s followers.

He appealed to journalists to avoid content that might provoke the BRS cadre. In his video, Rakesh stressed that he respects KCR deeply and warned that misleading news could lead to public unrest or even violence against him.

For context, Rocking Rakesh produced and starred in the film Keshava Chandra Ramavath (KCR), which released on November 22, 2024. Directed by Anji and written by Rakesh himself, the film did not resonate with Telangana audiences or KCR’s loyal fans.
