Fancy numbers continue to attract bidders for reasons ranging from easy recall to spiritual beliefs. The Telangana government’s recent move to regularise the bidding process has further boosted RTA revenues.

Apart from corporates, individuals also spent big, with several paying over ₹1 lakh to get their preferred registration numbers. The auction underlines the sustained demand for personalised numbers in Hyderabad.
