Sakshi‘s Credibility Issues: YCP Trying New Ways

Sakshi TV is at the bottom of the Ratings table almost every week for more than an year. The situation is more or less the same for the Newspaper.

The Government has made the Newspaper mandatory for volunteers to inflate the circulation. Sakshi efficiently peddled YSR Congress‘s agenda before 2019. But it is not the case now with Elections fast approaching.

The other day, there was an article in ‘The Wire‘ website about how the CBI investigation in YS Vivekananda Reddy’s Murder case is flawed.

The article immediately triggered doubts about what a website dealing with National news is concerned about a sub-regional issue like Vivekananda Reddy’s case.

The answer is clear when Sakshi translated the article on its front page the next day. Since Sakshi will have credibility issues, The Wire is used to help peddle the Pro-Avinash Reddy‘s theory in this issue.

This modus-operandi is not anything new. In the early days after YSR‘s death, we remember Jagan‘s supporters creating arson across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana attacking Reliance Stories after a Russian website story that Ambani is behind YSR‘s Chopper Crash.

A similar tactics is being used now for a different purpose now. We will see more of Political chess games in days to come with elections fast approaching.
