Singapore Transport Minister S Iswaran was arrested over allegations of Corruption in that country. Iswaran is an Indian-origin Minister and was deployed by the Singapore Prime Minister to strengthen India – Singapore ties.
Iswaran was the single-point contact for such issues. Thus he came in touch with the then Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu when the latter mooted a Singapore Masterplan for Amaravati.

Sakshi uses that and names Iswaran as Chandrababu’s Business Partner and is trying to manipulate the public as if Chandrababu is involved in the scam that happened in Singapore.
There are numerous stories in Sakshi TV, Newspapers, and Blue media linking Chandrababu to Iswaran.

But then, Iswaran was in an official position and has connections with all the Governments across the country and even the Central Government.
Iswaran spearheaded the Singapore team which ensured the DBS (Development Bank of Singapore) built its largest technology hub outside its Singapore headquarters in Hyderabad.

He also played an instrumental role when Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin on his maiden visit to Singapore in May this year when signed six MOUs about various investments.
Iswaran was also a part of the India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable last year to “deepen existing cooperation and identify opportunities for mutually-beneficial collaboration in new and emerging areas”. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, external affairs minister S Jaishankar, and commerce minister Piyush Goyal were a part of that Roundtable.
But saying all this will not fit into Sakshi’s agenda.
The media house is not bothered about all this and is focused only on peddling lies about Chandrababu Naidu and Telugu Desam Party.
