Samantha’s Statement on Konda Surekha’s Comments

Telangana Cabinet Minister Konda Surekha’s comments against BRS working president KT Rama Rao, actors Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha created a heated atmosphere in the political and film circles.

She alleged that KTR was the reason behind Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s divorce. She said KTR asked Nagarjuna to send Samantha to him in return for not demolishing his construction, N-Convention. According to her, this caused tension in the family, leading to the divorce of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha.

These allegations caused huge outrage in the political and film circles. The entire Telugu film industry condemned Surekha’s statements and demanded a public apology. Later, Nagarjuna and KTR each filed defamation cases against Surekha.

Recently, Samantha was asked about Surekha’s statements in an interview. She said she felt deeply moved by how the entire South Indian industry supported her when there was so much hate against her on social media.

She said that the reason she is here today is because these people didn’t give up on her. “Their love and faith in me helped me get through,” she said.

“I might have given up otherwise. I wouldn’t have had anything to fight for or come back to. It’s because of their faith in me that I’m here today,” she added.
