Kurnool has the highest number of cases with 275 cases. Guntur is second with 209 cases and it is followed Krishna with 127 cases. The worrisome factor is that the number of deaths in Andhra Pradesh is more than that in Telangana while the recovery rate is much less.
This is for almost the same number of confirmed cases. With 31 deceased and 171 discharged, there are 814 active cases. In contrast, there are 25 deaths in Telangana and 291 patients were discharged in Telangana, according to the last night medical bulletin. The Government, however, is underplaying the spike in cases saying that this is due to increased testing.
On the other hand, According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of cases in the country are 24,506. The government of India is dropping hints about the relaxation of the Lockdown after March 3rd at least in non-hotspot areas. It has to be seen if that will lead to a further spike in the cases.
