Security Beefed Up for Jagan’s Padayatra

Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will resume his Padayatra sometime the next week in Vizianagaram. Jagan has been resting recuperating from the injury sustained due to an attack at Vishakapatnam Airport. In the wake of the attack, the district police beefed up the security and have arranged a three tier security around the Opposition Leader.

Entire area of the Padayatra will be cordoned off completely and every person will be thoroughly checked before allowing near Jagan. Other than that, no other person will be allowed near him. The party leaders and the local incharges were to give complete Road Map of the Padayatra in advance and no last minute changes will be allowed.

This new Security rules will make life difficult for the people and fans to approach Jagan freely. In a way, it is a disadvantage to Jagan to interact with the people easily. Jagan has completed Padayatra in 11 districts. After the ongoing Padayatra in Vizianagaram, he has only Srikakulam to complete.

This unexpected injury to Jagan will mean that the Padayatra to tour the Titli Cyclone affected Srikakulam is delayed. Praja Sankalpa Padayatra is deemed as Jagan’s Ticket to become the Chief Minister in 2019, the party earnestly believes. After the Padayatra, Jagan is also planning a Bus Yatra in the Constituencies which he did not cover on foot.
