Self-Goal: Jagan Admits Filing Mass Form-7 Applications

According to a report on Eenadu Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had made a shocking claim while Speaking at YSR Congress Samara Shankaravam in Nellore. Jagan has accepted that it is YSR Congress behind the mass filing of Form-7 (Applications for Votes Deletion) in various districts of Andhra Pradesh. “Yes, we have filed those applications to remove Fake Votes. What is wrong? Jagan said.

This is a huge self-goal by Jagan if true because Form-7 is only applied by a person to delete his own vote. No one can file it on behalf of others. Also, it is not in the domain of YSR Congress or any party to decide if a vote is fake. It is the duty of Election Commission to verify such votes.

Jagan already complained to the Election Commission about the Fake Votes and also gave them a list of names they suspect. Election Commission already ordered an inquiry into it. YSR Congress has no business to get those votes removed via Form-7.

The issue came to light after Six Lakh Form-7 Applications have come up to the Election Commission in the last one week or so. The issue is rampant in nine districts of Andhra Pradesh and the Election Commission has filed Criminal Cases on more than 100 people in this. Admitting YSR Congress’s role in this is suicidal.
