Senior MP Refused Ticket, Joining YSRCP?

Senior MP Rayapati Samba Siva Rao is contemplating leaving of Telugu Desam Party and is currently in touch with YSR Congress Leaders. Rayapati is seeking Narasaraopeta Lok Sabha Segment for himself and Sattenapally Assembly Segment for his son, Rayapati Ranga Rao.

We are told that Chandrababu is not keen on giving both the tickets. Rayapati met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu about this Tickets and came out sulking. Ramakrishna of Bhasyam Schools is the frontrunner for Narasaraopeta Parliament Segment and Kodela Siva Prasad Rao is running the Second Time for Sattenapalli.

Rayapati was promised TTD Chairman during 2014 Elections but was not given. He was stripped off Polavaram Project Contract and the sub-contracts were given to various companies. This Tickets refusal has irked him further. So far three MPs of TDP – Avanthi Srinivas (Amalapuram), Ravindra Babu (Amalapuram), and Thota Narasimham (Kakinada) left the party.
