Senior Politician's vote missing in Telangana

Amid the huge allegations of irregularities in electoral rolls in Telangana, CPI General Secretary K. Narayana and his wife, Vasumathi Devi’s names are missing. They live in Basheerbagh and CPI office let out a statement that their votes are missing.

The party alleged that there can not bigger example of how voting lists are tampered in Hyderabad. This will come as a huge negative for GHMC officials who are already under pressure from such allegations. Narayana is living in Basheerbagh for several years, there can be no explanation on why his vote is removed.

On the other side, Election Commission of India had ordered the re-verification of the voters lists in GHMC limits. The entire exercise is likely to take two months of time. This is after the central teams sent by ECI found that standard procedures are not followed while removing the votes.
