Setback For Sai Reddy’s Daughter In High Court

Former YCP MP Vijaya Sai Reddy’s daughter Neha Reddy faced a setback in the Andhra Pradesh High Court concerning the case of demolishment of the concrete compound wall near Bheemili Beach.

Neha Reddy filed a petition seeking the status quo in this case. However, the court dismissed her petition, saying it could not issue an interim order.

The magistrate stated that the Chief Justice already ordered the demolition of the illegal establishments and stalled the ongoing construction works at the site. It was stated that as long as CJI’s order is in implementation, no interim order can be passed.

High Court judge Justice B Krishna Mohan suggested that if needed, Neha Reddy can join as the defendant in the PIL which is at CJ’s bench and request to make changes in the past order.

Meanwhile, the judge allowed Vishakapatnam Jana Sena corporator Murthy Yadav to be the defendant in the petition filed by Neha Reddy and asked him to file a counter. The next hearing has been postponed for a week.

Earlier, Murthy Yadav filed a PIL at the High Court, challenging the construction of permanent establishments near Bheemili Beach, violating the rules and regulations of the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ).

After hearing the case, the Chief Justice ordered to stop all construction works at the site. The officials were asked to seize the equipment as well. The court asked to take action against the establishments constructed illegally near the beach.

As a result, the Greater Vishakapatnam Municipal Corporation Assistant City Planner (Zone 1) issued final notices on July 18, asking to demolish the compound wall.

Challenging the order, Neha Reddy filed a petition in the High Court. The Chief Justice examined the case and sent it to the single judge. As per CJ’s direction, single judge Krishna Mohan heard the case and gave his order regarding the same.
