Sharmila In Congress: YSR’s Dream?

YS Sharmila has finally put an end to the long wait as she has joined the Congress party today in the presence of Rahul Gandhi. She is officially a member of the Congress party now.

Speaking with the media after joining the Congress party, Sharmila had a very interesting comment to make and this involved her late father YSR, and Congress chief Rahul Gandhi.

“My father YS Rajasekhar Reddy garu dreamed of having Rahul Gandhi ji as the Prime Minister of India. I will work towards fulfilling this with my journey in Congress party” Sharmila said.

Sharmila said she is ready to work in Andhra Pradesh if prompted by the Congress high command. She said she is ready to work in Andaman and Nicobar also if needed. She merged YSRTP in the Congress Party.

In the next few weeks, we could be seeing Sharmila directly attack her brother Jagan Mohan Reddy as she campaigns for Congress in AP.
