Sharmila Reacts To YCP’s ‘Sastry’ Propaganda

YS Sharmila might be the very own sister of the YCP high command but she wasn’t exempted from the propaganda of a section of YCP social media wing. For the last one week, a section of YCP social media wing has been propagating that YS Sharmila has to be referred as ‘Morusupalli Sharmila Sastry’ as she gets the last name and caste name of her husband Anil.

However, Sharmila has gunned down this narrative of YCP while speaking with the media today and hit back at the same.

“I am the daughter of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and that makes me Sharmila Reddy. My son is Raja Reddy, a name that my father YSR fondly gave him. How can I not be Sharmila Reddy at the will of certain people?” Sharmila questioned.

There was a talk that the YCP social media wing tried to separate Sharmila from the YS tag as well as the Reddy backing. But Sharmila was quick to react to the same as she has gunned down the narrative of the Jagan party supporters with her latest statement.
