For the last one week, a section of YCP social media wing has been propagating that YS Sharmila has to be referred as ‘Morusupalli Sharmila Sastry’ as she gets the last name and caste name of her husband Anil.
However, Sharmila has gunned down this narrative of YCP while speaking with the media today and hit back at the same.
“I am the daughter of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and that makes me Sharmila Reddy. My son is Raja Reddy, a name that my father YSR fondly gave him. How can I not be Sharmila Reddy at the will of certain people?” Sharmila questioned.
