Shilpa Mohan Reddy Quits TDP

The inevitable has happened in Kurnool. Shilpa Mohan Reddy had decided to quit TDP and join YSR Congress ahead of Nandhyala By-election. Shilpa himself told this to media and declared that he will join the main opposition party on 14th of this month.

The by-election is necessitated due to the sudden demise of Bhuma Nagi Reddy. However, there is a peculiar scenario here. Bhuma is a YSR Congress MLA shifted to TDP. His family members are expecting TDP ticket in the by-elections.

But then, Shilpa Mohan Reddy who contested here in 2014 and lost is seeking the same seat since Bhuma Akhila Priya is already given a cabinet berth. Shilpa is the only prominent joinee in YSR Congress post-2014 debacle and this will make Nandhyala by-election interesting.
