Shocking Recommendation for Kurnool MP’s Disqualification

Parliamentary Privileges Committee has recommended the disqualification of Kurnool MP, Butta Renuka for holding the office of profit. Interestingly, the Union Government itself appointed her to Social Welfare Board. And she was recommended for disqualification for that reason.

Butta Renuka in an interview said that she did not ask for the post but was given by the Center. She also added it is not Office of Profit since there is no salary and perks for that. It has to be seen what Lok Sabha Speaker, Sumitra Mahajan does now.

There is another disqualification petition pending on Butta Renuka for joining Telugu Desam Party after winning on YSR Congress Ticket. But interestingly, she was recommended for disqualification for another reason. That too a bizarre reason.
