Special Package Back To Front For YSR Congress and BJP Alliance?

A Report in Andhra Prabha says that the Central Government and State Government are mulling to bring back the Special Package to ensure that there is no problem for YSR Congress joins the NDA Government. In order to give no chance to the Opposition, the idea of a Special Package equivalent to the Special Status is being mooted.

But YSR Congress rejected the idea of Special Package while it is in the Opposition. The TDP Government, back then, initially was okay for the Package and later backtracked due to the Political Compulsion. YSR Congress even alleged that Chandrababu is okay with taking money equivalent to Special status since money can be swindled by Corrupt means.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will have to face the same allegations now. YSR Congress reportedly may project that Special Package equivalent to Special Status will be backed in writing by the Center. But that is going to be just a political adjustment as anything in a Government will have files that are equivalent to written backing.

It has to be seen how Janasena responds to this as it also rejected Special Package in the past. Special Status which appeared as it disappeared from Andhra Pradesh Politics is going to make a comeback now. However, that will happen only if TDP decides to take on the Center strongly like before 2019.
