Special Status A Finished Chapter: Center

Central Government once again sang the old song on Special Status. Union Minister Nityanand Rai once again told that Special Status is a finished chapter.

For a question asked by TDP MP Ram Mohan Naidu, the minister said it is not possible.

“The fourteenth finance commission did not give any prominence for giving Special Status to Andhra Pradesh,” the Minister said.

He also added that the center had almost executed all the bifurcation promises.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy diluted the issue right the day he came into power.

He dropped the issue saying that he can not influence the center which has absolute majority. He went on to say he would bring back the demand whenever the center is in need of his support.

But time and again, Jagan lent his support to the NDA unconditionally.

He is also supporting NDA candidates in the Presidential and Vice-Presidential elections.
