Stones Pelted At Amit Shah’s Convoy in Tirupati

Ahead of the polling for Karnataka Assembly Elections tomorrow, BJP National President Amit Shah visited Tirumala to pray to the God for the victory of the party. But then Amit Shah has had a bad experience pertaining to the Special Status of Andhra Pradesh.

After the Darshan, TDP supporters have staged a protest at Alipiri Garuda Circle. They have shown Black Flags to the BJP President and shouted slogans ‘Amit Shah Go Back’. Police were deployed in huge numbers in the wake of Amit Shah’s Protest.

They have alleged that BJP has gone back on all the promises made to Andhra Pradesh right under the footsteps of Lord Venkateswara Swamy and questioned how they can come back to the shrine after cheating the state. There are reports that some protestors have pelted stones at Amit Shah’s Convoy and few arrests were made.
