About 200 police have been deployed at ED’s office. Tear gas vans and water cannon vans are at stand by.

KTR left his residence at Gachibowli and went to ED’s office in Basheerbagh today morning where he will be questioned about E-Racing case. Many BRS activists have reached the ED’s office and the situation remains tense.

The ED has already recorded statements of Arvind Kumar and HMDA chief engineer. Apart from diverting Rs 45.7 crores in the whole affair, KTR is also being questioned about not taking RBI’s permission before diverting funds to a foreign company.

Before leaving home, former urban development leader KTR took to X and tweeted that E-Racing was one of the most prestigious projects he had brought to the city. KTR said the racers praised Hyderabad.

KTR reiterated that ‘brand Hyderabad’ will be of utmost priority for him and added that their name in history cannot be done away with Congress party’s cases.

There is proof for every rupee spent, so where is scope for corruption countered KTR. In fact, the state lost revenues by stopping the next season of the race, he tweeted.

The BRS leader blamed CM Revanth Reddy for taking a unilateral decision to discontinue the race without far sight.

The Congress levied charges against him to pass time and the truth will emerge soon, KTR concluded.
