Strong Rayalaseema Leader Looking To Join TDP?

If the rumors are to be believed, Senior Congress leader Raghuveera Reddy is likely to join the Opposition Telugu Desam Party. Raghuveera Reddy shined in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh as a cabinet minister. He took over the reins of the Congress party after the state formation but led the party to defeats.

TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu released a video commending this initiative. Buzz is that JC Prabhakar Reddy is trying to convince Raghuveera to join the Cycle Party. TDP is traditionally strong in the Anantapur district but got shocking results in the district in the 2019 elections. Among the fourteen constituencies in the district, TDP has managed to win only two.

Raghuveera’s joining may infuse the much-needed josh in the party not only in the district and also in the entire Rayalaseema.
