Sujana Chowdary in deep mess

Union Minister from TDP, Sujana Chowdary seem to be in neck deep trouble ahead of the crucial Rajya Sabha renewal time. Sujana Chowdary is already being haunted by a case in which his companies evaded loan to Mauritius Bank. While there are demands for his resignation, Sujana is not attending the hearings of the case.

His lawyers are repeatedly seeking exemption from personal appearances for obvious reasons. Finally Nampally Court today issued Non-Bailable Arrest Warrant on him and posted the next hearing of the case to April 26th. The Mauritius Commercial Bank is alleging that the company has defaulted on re-payment of a 106 crore loan.

The minister is now a non-executive director of the company. With this non-bailable warrant, Sujana will have no option but to attend the court hearing. In the wake of all this mess, TDP may not renew his Rajya Sabha membership. Sujana’s Rajya Sabha term is going to expire by this May.
