Sujana Chowdary’s ousting confirmed?

If the indications in Telugu Desam Party are any thing to go by, Sujana Chowdary who is currently the Union Minister from TDP Quota may be ousted out by Naidu. Sujana’s term is completing and Naidu is in no mood of renewing it due to the court cases on Sujana. They say for this reason, Sujana also missed Naidu’s last Delhi tour.

We are said that Chandrababu is planning to fill Sujana’s place with Sai Pratap who recently joined the party since such move would strengthen the party in Kadapa district. It has to be seen who will be given the Union cabinet berth that will fall vacant with Sujana Chowdary’s ousting.

Sai Pratap is the former Union cabinet minister and six-time Lok Sabha winner from Congress. He was a trusted lieutenant of Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy and is from Balija (Kapu in Coastal Andhra) community. Sai Pratap distanced himself from Congress after the bifurcation. Rajya Sabha for him will also send positive feel to Kapu community.
