Rapist sentenced to death after he is dead!

In an embarrassing situation to the judiciary of the country, Supreme court earlier this week found that it had sentenced a man to seven years imprisonment finding him guilty of rape charges nearly three years after he had died.

The man had died in 2012, the Supreme Court convicted and sentenced him to seven years imprisonment on April this year. But when the Police went to the convict’s village to arrest him, they found him already dead.

The convicted man was indeed deaf and dumb. He was accused of raping a minor girl in 2006. He was initially acquitted by the trial court as well as the high court but was convicted in the Supreme Court. Ironically, the convict was allegedly killed by his own brother three years back.
