The Apex Court felt that Lakshmi Parvathi did not have any evidence against Chandrababu but only filed the petition basing on frivolous political allegations.
In fact Lakshmi Parvathi seeks the Court to look into the assets of Chandrababu and ascertain if there is any fraud. “Who are you to know the details of someone’s assets? How can some one look into that without any ground?,” the Apex Court said.
“The High Court struck down the petition giving it enough thought. There is no meaning or value of the petition filed by you. We are dismissing the petition,” the Apex Court added.
It is a huge moral victory for Chandrababu Naidu and TDP. The fact that the verdict came after NV Ramana retired denies any chance of YSR Congress politicizing the issue.
