Survey: TRS Lost 8% Votebank, But Still Ahead

Popular Survey agency, AARAA had released the survey results of Telangana. The survey says TRS has lost its vote bank significantly but will still keep power if elections are held today.

According to their findings, TRS commands 38.88% vote share today while BJP is in the second position with 30.48%.

Congress will be losing its main Opposition status and is confined only to a 23.71% vote share.

TRS has got a 46.87% vote share in the 2018 assembly elections. The vote share got dropped to 41.71% in the 2019 General elections and it is now down to 38.88%.

Congress will be down from 28.43% in 2018 to 23.71% in the coming elections.

At the same time, BJP will be up from 6.98% in 2018 to 19.65% in the 2019 Parliament elections and now to 30.48% if elections are held today.

BJP is able to give fight TRS in Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Hyderabad, and Rangareddy districts but is in the third position in Warangal, Khammam, and Nalgonda.

The survey agency expects elections in Telangana any time in the next six months so as to not give time for further fall or BJP’s upswing.
