Surveys: TDP Breached Reddy Bastion – Anaparthi?

Anaparthi in East Godavari is considered the bastion of the Reddy community. It used to be a bastion for Congress and later, YSR Congress took its place.

But in the 2014 elections, TDP‘s Nallamilli Ramakrishna Reddy won from here with a slender margin. When Anaparthy is breached, it is almost certain that TDP will win Andhra Pradesh.

In the 2019 elections, YSR Congress’s candidate won with a sensational 55K+ majority and we know what has happened.

But then, multiple survey reports are suggesting that Nallamilli Ramakrishna Reddy is comfortably ahead of his rival in YSR Congress.

The survey reports are of TDP’s as well as YSR Congress’s.

Nallamilli Ramakrishna Reddy is one of the very few TDP incharges who were active on the ground right after the 2019 elections.

Despite such adverse results, he ensured the cadre is active and took up programs against the government.

If the surveys are to be believed, the results are showing.

Also, if there is a wave for TDP in Anaparthi, anti-incumbency should be very high in the Jagan government.
