Tainted IAS Officer of Jagan’s Cases Gets Refugee from KCR

IAS Officer, Sri Lakshmi who is one of the accused in Illegal Mining Case that benefitted Mining Baron, Gali Janardhan Reddy during YSR Regime finally got posting in Telangana government. Sri Lakshmi who was sent to jail in the case was suspended for that by the United government. Sri Lakshmi was later granted bail on health grounds.

Subsequently, her suspension also got revoked. After the state bifurcation, she was allotted to Telangana government but so as to avoid unnecessary controversies, Telangana government did not give her posting even though there is a scarcity of IAS officers. But then she complained to Central government over this and got a favorable indication.

Finally, Telangana government gave her the posting order the other day, appointing as Chief Secretary of State Government Institutions. She got the Chief Secretary post according to her seniority. This will come as a huge relief for the IAS Officer after so much of struggle for the last five years or so.
