TDP breaches YSR Congress Fortress!

If the results of Municipal elections are an eye opener for YSR Congress, the results particularly of Kadapa district come as an absolute shocker for the party and its followers. Kadapa district recently renamed as YSR Kadapa is said to be the fortress of YSR Congress. The party’s leaders and followers have expected nothing less than a clean sweep here in seven municipalities and Kadapa Corporation.

But the reality is different. Out of the seven municipalities in the district, Telugu Desam Party managed to win four. The party had comfortably won Badwel, Jammalamadugu, Mydukuru and Proddutur while YSR Congress won in Pulivendhula,Rayachoti and Erragutla. However the only respite for YSR Congress came in Kadapa Municipal Corporation where it successfully won 42 out of total 50 divisions.
