TDP Caught Between Devil and Deep Sea

TDP MPs who have been agitating in the Parliament for the last two days relented today. Following Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley’s assurance the other day, the MPs have decided to give one week time for the center to respond to all the issues hampering the state. The MPs have announced that they will look for this week and will intensify their agitation if there is no proper response.

The MPs also announced that their Union Ministers are ready to resign if necessary to reflect the aspirations of the people. On the other side, YSR Congress MPs are continuing their protest in the Lok Sabha. TDP seem to be struck between the devil and deep sea. But the party seems to be still banking on center to end the issue amicably.

On the other side, CM Chandrababu Naidu is going to Delhi tomorrow. He will be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to invite him for Krishna Pushkaralu. Chandrababu is likely to take up the issue with Modi and urge him to intervene immediately. The sentiment is flaring up in Andhra Pradesh over BJP’s insensitivity.
