TDP Fans Properties Will Be Attached: AP CID

The AP CID has come under severe scrutiny of late for acting as a puppet investigation agency in the hands of the YCP government. The arrest of Chandrababu under questionable circumstances showed the same.

Now, the CID has put another foot forward and has stated that they could be attaching the properties of TDP troops on social media.

AP CID chief, Sanjay spoke with the media today and he said “We are observing that a few social media users are abusing the CID and AP government with abusive terms and slurs. We will take firm action on them. We might even attach their properties if needed.”

The fact that the AP CID chief said they could be attaching the properties of TDP fans on social media has caught everyone’s attention. Moreover, the AP CID chief listed out the names of a few Twitter handles belonging to TDP fans and said these handles are under the CID’s radar.

A netizen questioned if the CID will take the exact same action and attach properties of YCP troops who share abusive posts on Chandrababu, Lokesh, and Brahmani. If not, it clearly establishes the modus operandi of the AP CID, he commented.

Moreover, an investigative agency that is supposed to control and curb the corruption in the state, saying they will attach the properties of commoners over social media posts has drawn a negative response from all quarters.
