TDP Finalized Around 94 Candidates Already!

Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh will happen in 2024. However, TDP has already finalized nearly three-quarters of the candidates. It is known that Nara Lokesh is doing a padayatra in the state and Chandrababu has been touring districts.

The party expects to win the next Assembly elections and is gearing up at top speed to make sure it announces the candidates so they can take up necessary steps prior to elections. Both Chandrababu and Nara Lokesh have been announcing candidates as they tour the state. Till now, they have announced 94 names as part of the tour.

It has already been announced that tickets for 19 MLAs who won in the last elections are confirmed. So, in all 75+19=94 candidates are confirmed. The talk is that they have gone to their constituencies and silently started the groundwork.

At this moment, rumors are rife that TDP will go for an alliance with the Jana Sena party. But TDP is also ready to go alone without any alliance unless a need arises. The party is in full gear preparing for the upcoming elections as it readies the candidate list well in advance.
