Film Industry has suffered a lot during the Telangana Agitation as the industry with the most number of AP natives were targeted by the agitators back then. Film actors have moved close to Telangana government after the state formation for obvious reasons.

But this seems to be attracting the ire of Andhra Side. TDP MLC Rajendra Prasad warned film stars of a boycott if they do not respond to the injustice that is being meted to the state by the Central Government.

“Even Telangana Leaders are sympathetic to AP demands but I do not know what stars are afraid of? We have to see your films, you want our money, we have to give you awards, if not you will create ruckus but you do not support our cause. They should voice their support to the people of AP or else may have to face a boycott,” Rajendra Prasad warned.
