TDP MP Donates Salary For Amaravati

The construction of Amaravati capital region restarted after TDP came into power in Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu promised to build the capital city in a structured and phased manner.

Meanwhile, TDP leaders are coming forward and doing their bit personally for the construction of Amaravati. Recently, Vizianagaram MP Kalisetty Appalanaidu donated his first month’s salary to the capital city.

Appalanaidu handed over a cheque of Rs. 1.57 lakh, his first month’s salary, to Chandrababu Naidu in Delhi. Other TDP MPs were also present on this occasion. Chandrababu Naidu appreciated the noble gesture of Appalnaidu.

Meanwhile, people who came across this news are also lauding Appalanaidu for his gesture, most importantly because he comes from a humble background.

Appalanaidu started his career as a journalist. He joined the Telugu Desam Party about two decades ago. He served as a market committee chairman of Ponduru in the past.

Later, he worked as a director of TDP North Andhra (Uttarandhra) training institute in Vizianagaram and trained lakhs of cadres.

Impressed by his loyalty to the party, he was given the Vizianagaram MP ticket in the 2024 elections. Appalanaidu won the election with a thumping majority of 2,49,351 votes.
