TDP To Experiment With Narasaraopeta Parliament?

Kammas are dominant in Narasarapeta Parliament and they have always got the ticket from TDP or Congress. Rayapati Samba Siva Rao who shifted from Congress to TDP won in 2014 but lost in 2019.

He has been politically inactive after that due to age issues. TDP is scouting for a new candidate since then.

A Chairman of a popular education institution in Guntur is said to be in Chandrababu’s mind.

Meanwhile, former TTD Chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadavs son Putta Mahesh Yadav is keen on getting this seat and has approached AP TDP President Atchennaidu.

Mahesh Yadav also happens to be the son-in-law of TDP Senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu.

If Chandrababu okays his candidature, it will be the first time a BC candidate will be in the fray for Narasaraopeta.

Putta Sudhakar Yadav’s TTD Chairmanship tenure has become so controversial. It’s been a long time since the Yanamala family won from their own Tuni constituency. Still, TDP gives them due respect. TDP cadre does not want Chandrababu to give them further importance.
