Telangana Not Doing Its Homework Properly?

Telangana government seem to be failing in getting proper funds from the center due to the lack of proper homework. This is evident the other day in Parliament. Telangana government has proposed Mission Bhageeradha with 29,846.70 Crore and is expecting 75% of that from the Central government.

TDP (TS) MP, Devender Goud asked the center about its role in the scheme, to which the Minister of State for Drinking Water & Sanitation, Ramesh Jigajinagi went on to say that the amount sought by Telangana government is more than that of the total allocation for the central ministry for the whole country.

He went on to say Center is taking up 2929 drinking water schemes in the state with 1843.03 Crore. The Minister did not divulge about Center’s help to the scheme indicating that the proposal is not even considered due to extravagant demand. Telangana government is hoping that Modi will make any announcement while he comes to Telangana next month for Mission Bhageeradha inauguration.
