Center mum on compensating AP's losing assets

Central government had reiterated its stand on the assets division between both the Telugu States. The center seconded the Reorganization act which says the assets should belong to that state where the asset is located.

The money in the accounts prior to the division should be divided in population ratio. The center did not respond on AP’s claim to compensate for losing major assets to Telangana for the sole reason they are located in Hyderabad.

Center revealed its stance in Supreme Court by filing an affidavit in Higher education council case. The center said both the states can use the services of higher education council after coming to an understanding about the expenses.
