Telangana Asks AP to Pay for its Employee?

Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwarlal is allocated to Andhra Pradesh post the bifurcation and he is the in-charge CEO of Telangana. Recently he had asked the Telangana government to pay incharge allowance. However, the state government has rejected it.

Telangana Government said it had not created the post of CEO yet and, therefore, there was no question of anyone being in charge CEO. It has directed Bhanwarlal to ask for his in-charge allowance to be paid either by the AP government whose employee he is or the Election Commission which directed him to work for the TS government.

Telling Bhanwarlal to approach Central Election Commission is okay but advising him to go to Andhra Pradesh government is altogether a shock. On the other side, Bhanwarlal had put one more petition to Telangana government asking to treat his case as an exceptional case.
